The validation process allows you to have your publications validated by a group manager or by another member of the group before publishing them on the news feed.
This allows you to ensure the accuracy of the information shared on the Newsfeed.
At first, it is necessary to create a publication in the classic way.
💡 All types of publications can be sent for validation: |
Once your publication draft has been written, you will be able to: |
Define a reviewer
The reviewer of a publication is the person who will validate with you the publication of your post. Depending on the parameters defined by the group manager, the reviewer can be:
One of the members of the group that you have chosen as recipient, including guest,
Only one of the group managers,
One of the recipients of your post if it is a private post.
To choose the reviewer for your draft publication, click on the validation tab and choose the proposed reviewer from the drop-down list.
The proofreader must be part of the list of recipients:
If this is a group post, the reviewer must be a member of the receiving group.
If it is a private publication, the reviewer must be in the list of recipients.
NB: You can only change reviewers once the publication has been reviewed.
Submit your post for review
Once your publication has been written and the reviewer defined, the Request validation button appears.
Select it to send your draft for validation. A pop-up window appears to confirm your choice.
NB: A reviewer cannot make changes directly to your publication. it is necessary to exchange with him via the dialogue window.
Find your publications being proofread
Going back to your publications being read allows you to know their status or if a message is waiting for you.
From the News Feed, click the Eye button.
Select the requested tab(s).
And find all the statuses of your publications in the process of being validated:
Validation requested,
Validation in progress,
Requests validated / rejected.
Discuss the changes to be made
The reviewer has the possibility of validating a publication directly without prior exchange.
It is also possible for you and the reviewer to send a comment via the exchange channel dedicated to your draft.
To do this, click on the publication of your choice and send a message in the relevant discussion space.
A red dot will appear in the checkpoint of the validation process to notify you that a new comment has been made on your draft.
The reviewer can then decide:
to validate your publication
to send your publication for modification so that you can make the requested/recommended modifications.
reject your post
NB: each publication sent for reviewing has its own communication channel.
Publish your post
Once your publication has been validated, you will be able to:
publish your post directly by clicking on publish
schedule the post by selecting the Schedule tab and setting a post date and time.
