Add videos to your publications. 📹

It's now possible to add videos to publications, with an experience similar to that of images 🎉

Several options are available for embedding a video in a publication:

via a dedicated option in the text editor
by simply dragging and dropping from your computer
by copying a URL

Videos can be resized like images, and a caption can be added. Playback takes place directly from the publication, only when the player is clicked ▶

💡 Maximum video weight depending on the plan :

500 MB for the Standard plan
1 GB for the Premium, Business and Enterprise plans

How to pin a comment?

You can pin a comment to highlight its importance. The comment will then appear at the top of the thread.

Only one comment of the thread can be pinned.

Who can pin a comment?

Administrators can pin comments from groups they belong.
Group administrators can also pin comments from groups they manage if an administrator has allowed it from the administration.
The author of a comment can also pin it if a group administrator or an administrator has allowed it.

How to pin a comment?

To pin a comment, select the three-dot icon and choose Pin Comment. The comment will appear associated to the Pinned mention.

What is chatting?

The chat allows a real-time exchange with one or more participants. A chat discussion is intended to be used punctually and does not fulfill the same role as the news feed.

You can create different chat rooms:

a chat room with a participant,

a chat room linked to a group.

The OfficeNow suite of collaborative documents

OfficeNow is talkspirit's complete collaborative office suite allowing your users to work efficiently together and online on 3 types of documents: the text document, the spreadsheet and the presentation.

When OfficeNow is enabled in your organization, 3 document icons appear above the news feed and in the file space.

Creating a document

To create a document, click on the icon of your choice:

The text document is represented by the blue icon
The spreadsheet is represented by the green icon
The presentation is represented by the red icon

If you do this from the News Feed, a popup offers you to choose the group and directory in which you share this document. Otherwise, a new window opens on the new document.
