Videoconferencing is also available via our mobile application, available on iOS and Android.

What are the technical constraints?

The technical constraints to be respected are the following: it is necessary to foresee a bandwidth per user of 500kbps for a satisfactory operation.

Blue:

In order not to block the broadcasting of video streams, you must also add the UDP protocol on the outgoing ports ranging from 20 000 to 65 000.

Blue is based on the Voxeet technical infrastructure (a Dolby entity since 2020). Voxeet is RGPD compliant. Please authorize the domain *.voxeet.com

Red:

However, Red allows for a more restricted port opening: it will be necessary to open UDP ports 10000 to 10100 on IPs 176.31.142.41 and 149.202.188.39.

It is necessary to open the ports on domain *.talkspirit.com on IP 87.98.173.251 for TCP web 443 flows.

Red is based on the Jitsi infrastructure. Jitsi is RGPD compliant.

How to improve the quality of the videoconference?

The quality of the videoconference depends on 2 parameters: the quality of the Internet connection and the power of your machine. If the video conference is not fluid, cut the video channel.

What is the member limit for video conferencing?

Videoconferencing is limited to 35 participants with video enabled for performance reasons.

How many video conferences can take place at the same time?

There is no limit.

What is a meeting's time limit?

There is no limit.

How many people can join the meeting's phone bridge?

There is no limit.

What is the service cost?

The service is included in the subscription. Options and new services will be proposed soon and may be included in a service offer subject to an additional subscription.

Technical specifications

Codec support:

  • Video - H.264 (Simulcast supported) and VP8 (Simulcast not supported)

  • Audio - Opus

Bandwidth:

The WebRTC frame is used. It is therefore determined automatically by the platform, as no client-side control API is available today.

Example: For a good quality video call for two (720p30), an upload and download bandwidth of at least 1.4 Mbps is required.

The system will automatically control the resolution as the available bandwidth decreases and will operate with a bandwidth as low as 384kbps.
