# Set your status on Talkspirit

Whether you're in a meeting, working from home, or heading on a vacation, you can set a **status** and let your organization members know what you're up to.

Other users will see your status displayed next to your name.

If you do not find a status that fits your need, you can create your own status by typing in a label and choosing an emoji.

If none of the listed statuses match what you want to display, you can define your own status by entering a label and choosing an emoji.

| Nb : your status is not linked with the Do not disturb mode.
