# Moderating a chat room

**💬 A chat room is an instant exchange space for your members. Some messages may be shared by mistake or inappropriate to the context of the group.**

**👉 As a group or chat manager, you can delete these messages and moderate exchanges.**

# Delete a member's chat message.

To delete a message in a chatroom you manage:

* **Click on the 3 dots next to the message you wish to delete.**
* **Select Delete message.**

💬 Once the message has been deleted, a message will appear to warn that it has been deleted by a manager.
