# Conferring or revoking group manager rights

Only group managers are authorized to modify the privileges for their group.

# Conferring manager rights on a member

* Click on the **Users** icon
* Click on the **chevron** next to the name of the member to confer manager rights on
* Select **Make group owner** (user will be notified)

# Revoking a member's manager rights

* Click on the **Users** icon
* Click on the **chevron** next to the name of the member whose manager rights will be revoked
* Select **Make member** (user will not be notified about the loss of its privileges)
