The Home Page application adds an Intranet Portal type entry page to your platform, including news and events independent of a group or news feed, a presentation of your platform and a list of referring members.

Only an administrator can activate this application and appoint managers

Home Page presentation

When the home page is activated, it becomes visible only to the manager(s) of that application. The home page consists of several modules:

  • An About module to publish a presentation of your organization or project.
  • A Referents module to highlight contact points
  • A Headline module for publishing information
  • A Next Events module

Add, edit, publish and delete content

Publish a presentation

  • Click on the Publish presentation button or on the + icon in the upper right corner of the module.
  • Fill in all required fields. The recommended image size is 1040x480px.
  • Click Publish to make your presentation visible when the home page is in a display mode (while it is not in display mode, only managers can see the information).
  • Choose who can see this content: all users, members only, or guests only.
  • Click on the Publish button (or Add a draft)

Note: you can add several presentation items.

  • Click on the gear icon to edit or delete the item

Add referents

Referents are points of contact in the organization.

  • Click on the Add Referents button
  • Fill in all fields
  • Choose who can see this content: all users, members only
  • Click on the Edit button

To change this item, click on the gear icon icon and edit.

Publish a news item

  • Click on the Publish info button or on the + icon in the upper right corner of the module.
  • Complete all fields. The recommended image size is 1040x480px.
  • Click Publish to make your information visible when the home page is in a displaying mode (as long as it is not, all information is to managers only).
  • Choose who can see this content: all users, members only or guests only.
  • Click on the Publish button (or Add a draft)

Note: you can add several pieces of information to the front page.

  • Click on the gear icon to edit, change the position of the content in the module or delete the item

Publish an event

  • Click on the Publish Event button
  • Complete all fields. The recommended image size is 1040x480px.
  • Click Publish to make your presentation visible when the home page is in display mode (as long as it is not, all information is only visible to the managers).
  • Choose who can see this content: all users, members only, or guests only.
  • Click on the Publish button (or Add a draft)

Note: you can add multiple events.

  • Click on the gear icon to edit, change the position of the content in the module or delete the item

Publish / Hide Home Page for all users

Before publishing your homepage to all users, you can view it as Members or as Guests by clicking on the 3 vertical dots icon in the top right corner of the page.

You can also view the home page by only displaying drafts, if there are any, and thus check information that will not be visible to users.

Click on the button in front of The section is hidden to publish the home page. The home page then becomes visible to all users identified to the service according to the publication options you have chosen for members and guests.

Note: it is still necessary to be logged in to the service to access and view the home page. This page is not public on the Internet.

To stop displaying the home page, click on the button in front of The section is displayed. The Home icon and the home page are then no longer visible to users.
